Hi,glad to join in  I have the 1851 U.S indian head silver dollar too and I don't think its a fake or that it was never made mint.I did see on ebay that chineese have made fakes of it but, on it its writing in small ( copy) the one I have don't have that.Hope to find further info about it.I have photos of it but, for some reason it wont upload right Edited to add pictures

Make sure your images size is under 90K each. You would need a program that allow you to resize images.

Natolia, The only 1851 U.S. Silver Dollar produced by the U.S. mint is the Seated Liberty. What kind of error message are you getting when trying to post pictures?

Is this indian head dollar that you speak of, possibly made of gold and is very small?

 There is no such thing as an 1851 Indian Head Silver Dollar and in fact, there are no US coins that used an Indian image dating to that time. You almost certainly have what is known as a "fantasy piece", a token made to look like a coin with a design or date that never existed in reality.
