Let me be the first to welcome you to the friendliest and imho the best coin forum around! As for your coin, It sure looks doubled, because of the separation (notches),but I'm no expert.
Someone will come a long and confirm shortly!

looks like machine to me, but your pict is a little bright. try backing your light off a bit or move it around your frame and see what stands out. some times two lights are better than one fromnot so near opposing each other. And, good to have you here,, stick around and you will see and hear and Learn alot ! ! ! !

The guys who can really help will ask to see more of this coin, such as the whole date, LIBERTY, and In God We Trust--in detail.
Good luck with that one and

Welcome first!

May I suggest that you scan your image in a higher resolution, than if needed be, reduce it from within the program and upload it again. 90K is the max size you should be able to submit it to this forum.

And from this point of view. I agree with tis867.

Welcome to the forum. Its hard to tell with the pics as already pointed out. I am going to lean on MD for now, try to list the year and mint also when posting, that will help in different situations.

I have added the information you deleted from your posts and please don't go back deleting posts because it makes the whole thread seem whacked out if someone else has the same question and looking for the answer
