I need your opinions on this. 1977 dollars.

Misprinted on left corner. I have attached pictures for you to see. Please let me know what you think of value and where I should take this to? They are in very new shape and have been in plastic since 77 I would assume. Wish I would have had the other dollar serial number ending in 05! But I only have these two.
The backs seem fine but I am still looking at them. btw just got them
from an estate.

Thanks in advance,
Z

It does appear to be a genuine foldover printing error. Notes are printed in three steps- the reverse, main front framing, and then the Treasury Seal and SNs. The sheet that your note came from was folded before the third printing so the left serial number was separated. Very nice that you have a two note set there As far as value, I am not sure at to a value but I would have to guess something north of $100 and the two notes together are even more attractive IMO.

Nice note. It would be better if you had the other "bookend" note, but it is still nice that you have the two. Congratulations!

I am getting a range of 150 to 500 so far in my reasearch but I would like to ask anyone again for their comments on how much do
you think this might be worth AND maybe some links to other misprints on paper money?

Any leads or examples would be helpful!

Thanks again in advance,

Z
