"authenticity is guaranteed.".........by who?

Pardon me for being a skeptic but have you any previous dealings with the company? Or can someone you trust verify the situation as legitimate?

thank you so far for the responses.
as far as the company is concerned, There is absolutely NO problem. These amounts are not significant amounts for them. AND German laws are very specific.
I have dealt with the company several times. Once a coin shipment to the tune of about 12,000 Dollars was pilfered in transit. They issued a credit and dealt with it with their insurance provider.

I am still a newbe, but personally I would not even consider a Carson collection unless its totally slabbed/certified. I myself am collecting a Carson set (13 coins)and all of mine are MS and certified with a mixture of many GSA's. I'm hoping for a good return in the future on my set, and I know, the best MS you have (and can afford) the better the set will hopefully be worth to a collector who loves these wonderful coins.

I can only give you what the price guide says for that specific grade, of course if the grade is higher than VF the value would go up as well
