Does errors on US notes increase the value of the notes like coins?

I have a 1928 Series F note that is off center on both sides. It is off center just enough to see the green of the next note.

Here are the pictures.

Thanks for any info...

That does look to me like it would carry a premium.

Sometimes, if there is a noticeable amount of design from the next note showing on your note, a premium would be in order. Other times, it's value may actually be decreased as merely being not well centered. Proper centering is a virtue in currency, unless it is off center so much as to deem it an error. Just depends on who you show it to and how they view it.
Rest in Peace

IMHO not enough off center to cause any excitement.

Thanks for the input, it seems like there is a vote for should be worth more, a vote for it may be worth more and a vote for, it may not be worth more.

I guess I will have to let the ebay market decide.

Find my ebay listing for this note by clicking here

Thanks

Ken

So it ended up selling for about $15. I guess that is a premium over a similar note in it's condition without the error. I had about 11 watchers, so I thought the bids were going to fly at the end.

But a sniper did not even step in at the end.

Its also got an offset printing, (I think its the 2nd printing but am not sure). The serial numbers are very low. You can see that the number on the left is actually touching the signiture. Not by much, but a bit.
