The reverse is Alexander on horseback crossing the Tigris River. IMAGO TALIS ALEXADRIA TIGRIN SVPERANTIS. With the word bronze stamped on the side and it nice dark patina I say it's mid to late 19th century. Beautiful medal. Report this Post to the Staff
