Its Queen Louise of Lorraine and on the other side is Alexander crossing the Tigris river.

Will see if I can get a date for it - I have a strange felling its alot older than it looks!

This is a reproduction of a medal of Queen Lousie of Lorraine (1574-1589)Obv: LODOCIA LOTARAENA REGINA FRANC. The reverse is Alexander on horseback crossing the Tigris River. IMAGO TALIS ALEXADRIA TIGRIN SVPERANTIS. With the word bronze stamped on the side and it nice dark patina I say it's mid to late 19th century. Beautiful medal.
