2002 D LMC No Copper?

Sorry I can't post pics.

I found a 2002 D LMC dull silver or nickel or zinc appearance. 2.5 grams. It does not look at all to be plated. Has anyone heard of this?

It's probably a cent that didn't make it to the plating.
I have a 1983 just like that. looks almost like a dime

With the right chemicals, you can remove the plating.

These have to be checked and a picture would help. Most of them are either plated or had the plating removed. You can't assume that the coin missed the plating process when they are so easily faked.
