I am so glad I dumped some of my silver when it reached over 14.00 a ounce (reluctantly at the time)because it seems it may be awhile before we ever see that price again

When the current inventory is such that they need to unload or until the inventory is gone and the prices are reflective of the current market.

I don't think the mint is worried I think even though the prices drop they will still sell out of the gold proof coins all sizes. SO they will just make more money off of the ones who buy them.

The tail waggin the dog. Speculators will jump in thinking the price will make it a low mintage item. Problem is too many speculators will make it a high mintage item ruining the secondary market. I'm glad I'm broke so I don't have to think about these things.

This is good news for potential bullion buyers, and bad news for people who clung on to silver when it reached $15 an ounce, hoping that it would continue to rise. The same thing goes for gold.

This may just be the last opportunity to buy precious metals at a bargain price. If the Fed doesnot raise interest rates to match inflation, people will not sit on dollars losing money.Don't be one of Bernake's sheep. The true inflation rate is being hidden. If we have a global recession, everyone loses.
