sn31 Pillar of the Community United States 773 Posts	Posted 06/13/2006 9:40 pm I am curious as to what kind of metal is in Canadian cents large and small?I know nobody thinks these are worth anything,and nothing to get excited about,but My neighbor gave me another 1958 cent she found in her change.I didn't have that year,so YEA FOR ME!! In 1997 the composition changed to copper-plated zinc, just like US cents have been since 1982.
