Easy.."Nightcrawler Fever"..same seller listed 3 more, 2 weeks later...a "Mole" in the Ikegroup.info, who knew exactly what he had...I played dumb, and, first hour of listing offered a BIN of 50 bucks, all to no avail..That's OK, I found my own, days later, in a PCGS 11-piece PR69 DCAM 40th Anniversary Set..divided out, my top pop(so far, only 2 PR69 DCAM's found), cost about 29 bucks...it's in Vermont as I write, getting a DIVA attribution, and photo shoot...my specimen was highly polished, almost a PPL IKE(see the IKE Book about those, or website), which made me wonder(first crawler found was not heavily polished)how many times the dies were "worked".. Update from Bill Fivaz last night...since the general thinking on WHy this raised line exists(Hubbed through Debris) is a mint die-production accident, and not a purpuseful addition, it is considered an IKE "error", and not a variety(like a DDO), thus, will NOT be in the next edition of the CherryPickers' Guide...which means PCGS will most likely NOT add it to their collector's universe "Must Have" list(which normally drives prices up)..time will tell..remember, it took mint workers a LONG time to discover their "goof"? on the 71-D FEV...maybe we'll never have a clear answer on error, or purposeful for the crawler...either way, "The Worm is out of the Bag"

Was supposed to be an Eisenhower dollar. I only made an image of one side as the other side looked remarkably similar to the first image. (Type II blank planchet.)

Ilikeikes I don't know the rarity of clipped Ikes but sounds good if I have a tough one! We all enjoy having something with a story and rarity too.

Has anyone got any impaired 40% issues? I am trying to fill a Whitman folder that came with 6 blank holes with 1972 and 40% Ikes, but I don't want to put any really good coins in there. I figured you guys would be the place to go for Eisenhower dollars of all kinds

I have tons of impaired 40%ers, both proof and business strike, thanks to finds from Ike bags. Drop me an email with what you're looking for.
