I have a Morgan as a pocket piece but, have considered adding another. An MS or PF Ike would be nice (anything smaller would probably be lost!). I only have one brown Ike so, it won't be that one. Maybe a clad Bicentennial proof?

Four years ago I gave my boys each a 1971 S Proof Eisenhower In The Brown Boxes For Pocket Pieces. We cracked them all out at the same time. (Christmas Day). and put them in our pockets.
This is mine after Four Years.
Very nice!

I had an Ike all through college, but quit carrying it after graduation for some reason.

Stu:

From your pics, it appears to be flat to the left.

I don't see any split serif.

I'm thinking its that dreaded MD unfortunately.(IMHO)

* I can't find one thing on the NET regarding any Eisenhower 1972S RPM*

What year Morgan do you carry around? I carry a 1921D. As a result I went with a 1971 Ike as a second piece. 2 different "Silver" dollars 50 years apart.

Very nice collection!

The 71 S looks like it might be a "PEG LEG R" Business Strike Ike.

Can you post a close-up pic of the R in LIBERTY?
