Stopped at the local silver mine looking for CWR of halves. No halves, ask for SBA's picked up 7, 2 were 1979S. Mentioned that the "tooth fairy" likes IKES when he can get them, and a young teller says I have one, so it came home with me. A 1976, it was. It was nasty on the face like it had been glued to something, so I cleaned it
with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Ready for the tooth fairy to deliver. Webekin

Something came my way today!

A delivery from the inimitable and original Darth Morgan, who was kind enough to sell me a pair of Ikes that I needed for my graded set.

He also supplied the photos, which I used to create my gallery cards.

There is a hidden story to that type 1. One quiet day Ike called Nixon and invited him out to go duck hunting. Armed with shotguns, they headed out to a lake and set up a good hiding spot. It seemed like it was going to be a great day. Now, we all know how dangerous it is to let a vice president hold, let alone use a gun, so to make a long story short, Ike took 2 pellets to the cheek, and now you know the rest of the story...

Sorry, couldn't resist... Beautiful samples JBuck...

Won this one today. I used seller photos for now, put together onto a background. It looks like it has the shadow over the Earth on the reverse.
