I didn't get the COA with my '71 brown Ike. Are they very important?

Not to me. I either leave them in the plastic holder (good way to display) or put them in Albums.

None of my Brown Ikes had a COA, but my Blue Ikes all had them. Didn't matter to me a bit, I cracked them all out and put them in my album.

Same here. None of the Brown Ike boxes have them. All of my Blue Ike packs have them. Both the Brown and Blue Ikes were liberated for the Dansco album.

Snagged a clad Ike from the local coin dealer in a quick haggle for another coin, which I tell you all about in the Classics section as soon as I have the picture cropped.

Got this guy from one of my daughter's friends. She found it on the floor of her bedroom and was going to spend it. I gave her $2 for it and she was happy.

Was at my local coin club meeting and saw a 1971s come up for auction. I didn't really know the value and was bidding on impulse and the fact that I loved the coin. As I bidded $25, my buddy (who owns a local coin shop) whispered to me he can sell me one of those for $14. I was outbid at $27 and was ecstatic. I went to my buddy's shop the next day and got this 1973s for $14. It was the best out of the 10 of them I could pick from. Makes me want to try selling coins in our club auction,

My LCS wants $28 for a 1973S silver proof in the original Mint packaging (brown pack.) Seems high. NumisMedia says $13.50 at 60 Cam to $55 at 69 DCam.
Any comments?
