Not enough time to scan

I got a 1976-S clad and a (If I remember correctly) 1971-S Silver Ike!

PWinDavis,

Not sure if you are interested in the newer Ike varieties that
have been discovered in the last couple of years.
But I noticed on your 1971 S Proof that it is of a quite early
die state.

And if you look closely just to the North East of
the designers initials (FG) on the reverse. There is a small man
there If you look closely you may be able to see a split
distinguishing a pair of legs and in the upper part of the little
Golfer man there may be a club over his right shoulder
as if he is in the middle of his back swing.

we have found the Man Golfing on the moon on 1971 and 1972
Business circulation strike, 40% Business Strikes (Blue Packs
and Brown Box Proof Ikes.

It is easiest to see on the VLDS Very Early Die State 71 and 72 Ike's

Here is the thread where we are gathering pictures of specimens
of this very unique discovery.

Thanks Stewart, this is great information! I will spend some time at the Ike group site and learn more about this.

Here's the Golfer on my 1971-S Proof, VEDS, DDO-O27--what else may be hidden on IKES, time will tell.

The pictures make it seem more toned than it really is, but is close.

Also, is there anything special for this year's silver proofs I should know?

Now JBuck, one Ike isn't enough for me... So I bought another!

My 1976-S Clad Proof Ike (which isn't a Deep Cameo, Only Cameo and doesn't have the weird orange tone)
