So I go to the bank today to dump some boxes.

"Do you guys have an Ikes I could buy?"
"Ummm, I dont, no."
"Any other tellers?"
"Let me ask... ... ... Nope sorry"
*** In the back ground *** "I think there are some in a box in the back"
"Ill take those, How many are there?"
" Let me go check"

Wow another batch of those Very Nice Ike's
I Like Great find at the bank

Here is one I picked up yesterday. Couple of scratches and Late Die State. But all and all a find that got my adrenalin going. We can make a game out of this one Can anyone guess the variety?

Picked up this IKE this afternoon from a TD Bank (opened on Sunday's!)

I also posted this over on the Ike Group for verification.

Is this a legit 1978D Peg Leg?

All I can say is WOW. Nice Double Header
Open Bank on a Sunday and a 78-D PegLeg

I would Say YES on it being a Peg Leg
But I would wait to celebrate until the big boys
over where you posted it chimed in. Just a hair wider
shot of the "R" along with the ones you have may help to be able to see
the polishing going on between Ike's head and the "R"

Big Congratulations

Terry

silverado,

Very Nice, I like it when the original mint packaging material
is still in great shape. Thanks for sharing
