I have taken a strong interest in varieties recently and am fine tuning my eyeballing without a loupe skills. Can anyone explain a bit to me abt the merc dime large S/trumpet tail S varieties of 1941 and 1943? Is the '43 considered to be a trumpet tail if it is a large S like the '41 is? Is the large S the same mark that was used on the Jefferson 41-S large S (it looks like it to me which is why I am asking).

I'd appreciate any clarification anyone can give me on this. I have been cherrypicking the nickels for a few years and would like to get into the dimes as well.
