Hello all,

I am traveling to St. Louis, Missouri for work. Is there any good coin shops in the area? I would like to visit a couple if possible.

Thanks,

The owner was fantastic (father). It is a 20 min drive from St. Louis, but worth it. Lots of nearby banks too, where I had some good luck with halves.

Midwest Money(my local shop, small but they have a great bid board), Missouri Coin Co, and Scotsman(also a regional auction house in addition to retail).

There is one major numismatic attraction in St. Louis, the Newman Money Museum, founded by renowned Colonial expert and the last collector to own all five 1913 Liberty nickels, Eric Newman. It is on the campus of Washington University(next to a Metrolink stop) in the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum.
