Don't know how you celibrate the Christmas time but I usually give proof and/or uncirculated sets to people for presents. I know it's a bit early but my suggestion is to put any of such coins away for now. Then at Christmas time place them in a 2x2 and give to someone as a present. Now your young so imagine bringing that up in about 20 or more years.

We now have a new way of getting coins! Begging! lafaa23, I truly almost gave you the Morgan in my contest just because you asked for it. Do you have any Morgans in your collection? What do you have?

You should put it in a flip then mail it to a random address in another country, with a little note explaining what it is,and that its theirs for keeps. Kinda like one of those Algerian lottery emails, but real.

Moe, I only have one Morgan that I got yesterday at a coin show, its an 1887 graded at MS 63 by NGC. I REALLY love Morgan dollars especially because of their design, weight, years, and size.

I'm so glad to hear that lafaa123 finally has a Morgan! He wanted one so bad, I was about ready to send him the VF-20 1921(P) Morgan currently mounted in my belt buckle, just so he'd finally have one... (my bolo tie features a more 'upmarket' 1881 Morgan) Do note that last year I saw a beautiful MS-62 1879-O Morgan in a coin shop case, and I was going to buy it, but then a 10-year-old boy and his dad came in the shop and he just fell in love with that coin!
