Thought I'd share my latest from E-Bay. Let me know your opinions on grade and price. I spent close to $10 US total on this coin. I just wanted an example to go with my other 1942 3pence, so grade wasn't an issue for me. My main concern was whether a mintmark had been removed and the coin was real.

Looks original vg/fine only 528,000 minted AUD$20/40.00, grading like beauty,is in the eyes of the beholder. Nice filler

I must admit, I have never seen a sharply struck obverse on 1942 Melbourne threepence. On the screen it looks like the scarcer Melbourne plain rather than the more common '42S (San Francisco) or '42D (Denver). I have a '42 plain in a bit better grade.
