I was wondering if there were any opinions on the upcoming Santa Clara, CA show at the SC Convention Center. There is a $6 admission fee but I know I have seen a $3 coupon somewhere - I'll find that.

But what I was wondering is if folks had a sense for the types of things that will be there. I went to a show here in San Jose in January and there wasn't much in the area that I collect - World OFEC. I did pick up like 9 or 10 countries and I was quite pleased with that. Essentially I found only three dealers who even had world boxes to look through.

It didn't seem like many folks deal in this anymore unless it is about precious metals - which I am not trying to collect. I don't mind a silver example from a country I need but I'm not looking to buy the $50 BU Proof. I do know I will be looking at bigger dollars to continue my collection due to scarcity

Anyway, any words of wisdom on this show?

I guess there are either no words of wisdom or no one in the San Francisco Bay Area on the forum. I'm still open to hearing of anyone's experience with this show. it sounds pretty big

April 8-11th. You can go to San Jose Coin club's home page. they have a bunch of Bay Area shows listed there. https://www.sanjosecoinclub.org

I use that site to help me stay on top of shows.
