It resembles a "monnaie de luxe" 25 kurush - but only at first glance. I think it's a "jewellery copy". Probably not solid gold.

What does the other side look like?

it is made from solid gold. I have it from my grandma. it is d=23 mm, about the weight I dont know :(

OK, now I can see the other side, I can see it's older than what I first thought. My apologies; I believe it is indeed a genuine coin.

The date on it is AH 1223 Year 15, which corresponds to AD 1821-1822. At 23mm, the denomination will be a "rumi altin". Listed in the catalogue as KM# 616. The gold fineness is unknown, and may be low enough to give it the reddish patina this one has acquired. Minted in Constantinople (Istanbul). Here's an example on zeno.ru dated Year 14, not 15. It should weigh about 2.4 grams.

Unfortunately, I've only got an old catalogue, dating from before the recent rises in the price of gold, Your coin lists in my book at $40 in VG condition. It would probably be closer to $70 today.
