I was rummaging through my world coins collection and found these two intriguing specimens. The first is a Maria Theresa Thaler (MTT) dated 1751 and the second is a Frankfurt Commerative Coin honoring the coronation of Francis I dated 1745. For the MTT coin, I tried to find some information on it at https://www.theresia.name/en , but they only showed the ones stuck in 1780 including the restrikes.

Now my two questions for these coins are...

1. Based on the condition of these two coins presented in the picture below, how much do you suppose each one would be worth today?

2. What do you suppose the rarity is for these two coins? (ie. Very Common, Somewhat Rare, Only X amount known to exist, etc.)

Any other information on these two coins such as minting location, history, etc. would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Here are the two coins!

BPyser1 - The 1751 MT coin raises some questions. First, what size is the coin? You describe it as an MTT which would be a Thaler but the coin lacks the proper design for a Thaler.

The coin clearly is from the Austrian Netherlands (present day Belgium) based on the shield design - I suspect you have half Ducatoon. The coin was a type used primarily as a trade coin. They are not excessively valuable $50 or so in VF, but they can be hard to locate. There is little collector interest in the series. The Austrian Netherlands as a whole is a series that has limited interest.

Let us know the size and weight and I can give you a couple more facts.

The commemorative is a coronation medal for Maria Theresa's husband Franz. He was coronated as "Holy Roman Emperor". I have no idea of the value of that medal.

Thanks Swamperbob for correcting me! After scouring the internet, I can confirm for you that the coin I thought was an MTT is indeed a 1/2 Ducaton.
