ok so I i got the usual $25 in pennies from the bank and was hoping to get some more copper, but when I glanced down to see if there was any on the top rolls, I saw all bright copper! I was angry because I wanted copper, and usually see a few whats on the ends, so I thought they were all zinc... but upon closer evaluation, they were the new shields and 2010-D all over them!! SO...
what to do now... I was going to sell them. maybe save a few for myself, BUT, is it better if I do not open the bank box, or open it up and sell the rolls individually?

To each his own, but I wouldn't be able to keep myself from tearing them opening and looking for the first doubled dies and other goodies. But, then again, I don't sell on ebay or anything else, I'm in it for the hunt! |

I would sell as a sealed box. You will probably get as much or more than selling fifty rolls individually, and you will only have to pack/ship one item. Great find by the way. It will probably be another month or two before I see rolls of shield cents around here.

definately go to ebaydo not open lol 500% + profit is nothing to sneeze at, and the prices for boxes will decline once more become available |

I would agree with others - sell on E-bay as soon as possible before supply increases. Then take the proceeds and invest in something older that has the opportunity to appreciate over time.

and I went back AGAIN to get another box today and... 1 more box of 2010-D! ebay.... again.. my last box sold for $107... hope to match or do better |
