(My Dad tried to tell me that somebody used Mercury and "rubbed it" to try to fool folks and have people think it was Silver.....and that I have to watch out for these kinds of tricks with coins and not fall for them) ......My Dad......bless his heart......Shhhhheeeeeshhh! I would keep it because it is an interesting conversation piece. mfhorn Pillar of the Community United States 959 Posts	Posted 03/14/2010 4:11 pm Eagle, I've got a 1977 that is counter-struck 1960-1985, only it is gold. Also a 1983-P that has 1960-1980 and chromed like yours. Guess the '85 is for the 25th anniversary. Weighed both and they are Clad. Probably a series of them out there; every 5 or 10 years.
