I just checked ebay sold category for WAMs and this is what I found. First of all, uncertified circs go for very little! One 2000 sold for 1c. Many starting bids of $5 for 1998s aren't met. As far as certified, some interesting values. PCGS 1998 64RD $41 1998 65RD 62 2000 64RD 27.50 2000 65RD 43 NGC 2000 66RD 30 ICG 2000 67RD 21 That's pretty low because of low regard for ICG I guess. I found no sale for a 1999 WAM. Does anyone have any sold data?

That's why I don't bother cherrypicking WAMs out of circulation!

chuckster, what condition were your 99s in? If they were MS, those prices seem low.

Neither coin was MS grade or even close to it!
Both were, at best, LOW A/U grade. They were circulated!
I was happy that they both broke over $100.00 and anything higher was a plus.

OK then, I suppose you were happy with those sales. Now let's find some MSs.

I sold one of my 1999 circ WAM's I found about one year ago on ebay. I would say it was EF-AU and it brought $189.

Good info guys. I found my first 98 WAM a few weeks ago. I had no idea what the range was.

WAM prices seem fickle to me at best. It depends on a lot of variables. Also, unless you have a practically perfect coin slabbed by PCGS, having them slabbed seems a waste of money. The return is not enough. I've sold a few WAMs in the past couple of months and was happy with the results. All were circulated and raw. A 1998 for $20, a 1998 & 2000 together for $27 and a 1999 for $125. I just found a 2000 last night. It's a little interesting as the obverse has a large area that was struck thru grease wiping out a big portion of the motto. I'll throw that one up on ebay next week and see what happens. Rock
