Check out what I got today. Replied to an ad online for some coins for sale locally. I got 20 Jefferson nickles all from the 30's & 40's , one Standing Liberty quarter, 10 Washington quarters between 1934-1951, and 1975,1976,1968,1969,1981,1970,1965 US Mint proof sets all in original packaging. None of these are my main focus in my collection but I got ALL of it for $33 How do you think I did ? Cheers !

For 33 bucks, someone could accuse you of stealing them! Great buy!

Sell me the 76 set and I will overlook the way too low price you paid for the other stuff.
OOPS that is when you reach 50 posts .....

I dont think you getting a good deal means you have to give some away no matter how much buffaloboy begs but seriously I think you did very good and I hope you bought everything they had for sale or atleast everything that you wanted because if anyone else responded to their ad at those prices they will wipe them out by tomorrow. I love seeing knew people getting a good deal like this instead of the ones that have been ripped off buying generic slabs when they didnt know any better and us having to tell them that their prized possessions that they thought they had isn't really so prized its just a possession and usually a way over priced one

Bryan,
The guy did not list prices. I offered him $15 for the loose silver and we set up a time to hook up. He brought the other stuff with him and told me I could have the rest for $18 more. So, I took it. He says he has more and I told him I wanted all of it. Should hopefully hook up with him again soon....

Maybe someday I'll have that kind of luck.
I can't complain about my life in general. It's been great. However, when it comes to great coin buys like this one, I always seem to miss out.
