Cleaned I know but for under $10 I couldn't pass it up.

It appears there was something else struck on it though, but I can't figure out what. Reverse has more markings than the obverse. I'm too new at this, any of your ideas would be appreciated.

it appears to be a clashed die, by which the dies struck each other with no coin in between the dies, leaving impressions of each die upon the other, you can see the (reverse)wreath clash just behind the arm there.. on the reverse you can see parts of the Obverse features popping out..Pretty cool clashed Half Dime there!!

That's some of the strongest clashing I've ever seen. Cool coin!

I've just started to study die clashes and this is a good one to begin with.
