No not like potatoe sacks potatoe sacks are dirty. Mint sacks are clean and are better woven. (I just read this stuff on the internet like 5 minutes before I made this reply)

buffaloboy.......he said that they were LIKE potatoe sacks not that they WERE! They are very similar to Bank bags.

If you don't want to pay the price - don't buy from the Mint...it's that simple.

Some banks offer you a bag to put all of your coins in if you've just taken out a large amount of rolls. Sometimes they'll mess up and give you a mint bag. This has happened to a few people I know, but not to me!

I happen to have stacks of those $25 bags that the nickels have come in, and they just lay around and gather dust. The idea has struck me that it might be possible to fill these up with slugs from electrical boxes and then sew them back togather. Should be able to sell them to someone on ebay, shouldn'd I? I could advertise that to leave them closed and how much more valuable they will be in 100 years, by being stored in the original bag they came in.

wow! Got to give this some more thought.

Old Dan did you know some dealers will poke a small hole in the bag, insert a small camera on a flex hose to look for errors? They can then still advertise them as UNOPENED!

Well you know dealers wouldn't do anything unethical like that. Maybe they just forgot they did that when it was time to sell the bag and BuffaloBoy5, well it is still sealed so its not really lying but it is shady as all get out

That's rediculous that a dealer would think of doing that. First of all, it would be so tough... Never mind, I'm just ranting.
