Hello,

Thomas D. Rogers designed the reverse of the 2000-2008 Sacagawea dollar but whose initials are on the reverse?

Sacagawea-Reverse-Initials

Looking at it I'm seeing VDR or possibly VOR?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks,
Rich

It does say TDR. I think the lighting is playing tricks on you. I can see how it could look like VDR though, so you are probably not the only one.

Hello,

OK I see both now, Thanks. I looked at the coin with a 10x loupe and it is TDR. This just further proves that, "Any coin magnified 100 times is not going to look good." LOL I'm understanding that quote from my local dealer more and more. No wonder he recommends a 10x Loupe
