Yes, rotated dies seem to be the only thing to look for. (NB and NWT are the only ones of the series discovered as far as I know) Not at all like the US Province Quarters with all the varieties/die problems!

Quote: Quote:Canadian State Quarters schmidty Quote: Quote: US Province Quarters schmidty yeah, that's a little turned around... anyway, the newer Charlton Canadian Coin Catalogues have a lotta pages with quarters, quarters, quarters. I believe I've also seen some mules listed?... no denomination due to mismatched dies? >>> see edit VVV >>> edit... jg86's reply below is absolutely correct VVV. I sometimes can't keep the various series straight and I'm not really a quarter collector and my Charlton wasn't within one meter of me but I remembered something on a quarter series mules... that's good rite(?) and I can go on about how I'm here to learn so on and so forth etc etc...

I believe you are talking about the 1999 quarters which have mules (September and November). The 1992 quarters do not have any non-demoninational mules. I believe that all varieties of them have been captured above. Rotated/Coinage NB, NWT, Sask (one known).

pennylover1010 is right on the which provinces have mules. (edit: not mules, but die rotations) From Charlton 64th ed, p148: New Brunswick has 3 die variations, (UU, UD, UR) North-West Territories has 2, (UU, UR) and Saskatchewan has 2 (UU, UD) Only one known Sask. mule. All the rest if they are UU aligned (Up-Up) they are the more common types out there. I've yet to find a single mule, but they are about 10-20x harder to find from what I see in price differences (mintages aren't provided for mules alone).

Libertad, rotated dies do not constitute a mule. The 1992 issues all had the correct die pairing, some of them just ended up being struck with some degree of rotation.
The 1999 issues did have mule coins, the September and November coins being paired with the "no denomination" obverse, creating two coins with no face value on either side.
