So I took my son to a coin show today. He had a list of pennies and nickels he was looking for, and he wanted a Barber half.
We got the Barber half, which finished off his 20th century type set. We also picked up three nickels, so now he only needs a '39-D, '50-D, '09-P, and '09-D to finish his Jefferson set.
But the highlight of the day came after going through a binder of S-mint Lincolns in 2x2s. We chose six that he wanted, and the dealer sold them to him at a bargain price of only $1.60. As we started to leave, the dealer asked him if he collects
Jefferson nickels. He said yes, and the dealer handed him a Library of Coins album and said he could have it. He has already moved his 1938-65 nickels from his folders to the album, and he really likes the way these albums look (they are the same size as his Littleton folders).
Anyway, to the point of this post: when did they stop making these? Also, I've been unable to find a complete list of titles, as this particular album was printed in 1959. Does anybody know a good source for getting used Library of Coins albums?
