Here is one of the 40 or so notes from my grandfathers wartime hoard. I believe it is a five sen note from japan but have no idea what year it is from or its value. There are about a dozen of these some of them in condition better than this one.

Sounds most likely a 1944 one (with the horseman and the rays of sun), P54.

As for price, I think at UNC they run around $5-7, XF $3, VG $1 or so.
