I have seen post such as - How old are you - Picture the poster - Where do you live - and - What is your favorite coin. I thought it would be fun to start a thread for what we all do in life, other than collect coins.
I work for IBM (20 years) in the IT division. I work with JCL and on Mainframe systems. Married 20 years and have 3 kids. My other hobbies are Hunting, Fishing, and Taxidermy.

I am a Automotive Parts Interpreter (28 years service), specialising in Country orders. We ship car parts all over Western Australia.
A parts man stood at the pearly gates His face was worn and old; He meekly asked the man of fate Admission to the fold.
"What have you done? St. Peter asked "To seek admission here?" "I was a Partsman back on Earth For almost thirty year."
The gates swung open swifty As Peter touched a bell, "Come in", he said, "and take a harp, You've had enough of Hell".
Anon.

I tell people where they are (Not where to go which I would like better) I also find missing things people have lost in the sea.. My job title is Hydrographic Engineer but basically I do what ever I am told just like everyone else.

I am an inventory manager with the world's largest home improvement retailer (think orange). That means I get up at 3AM, count all the stuff, make sure we know we have all that stuff, and order the stuff we don't have. Every once in a while, I run into a correct number.
On the side, I'm a freelance PC tech of 20 years - my first paid PC job was installing a hard drive into a computer which didn't come new with one, if that gives you an idea how far back I go. These days, I'm all about eradicating viruses and clearing caches. Personal record for combined virus/spyware hits on one computer: 16,445.

I work part-time for a coin dealer here in Wellington.I am in a position to get a lot of good stuff. That is how I got some of my rare coins such as the Australian 1932 2/-,the 1865 Sydney Mint Aussie 1/2 Sovereign,a 1921 East African 10c.,plus the 1966 100 Francs,1967 10 & 20 Francs Essais (all from the New Hebrides). Eventually,I will be working on an online British Commonwealth catalogue, which I intend will become more specialised than both Krause & Pick combined. The website is at https://www.bcnumismaticproject.com . Aidan.

Well I had a long story explining everything as to why I dont work anymore but I just deleted that and started all over. I was a commercial artist for a large firm and I was also a Truck Driver for FedEx Freight when I got hurt and could no longer work. I am going to end it there because I have enough people feeling sorry for me here I dont need it to happen the one place I actully feel like a equal

I remember, although I was never blessed with an opportunity to play with one of those monsters. I do recall playing with the add-on RAM cards for IBM XT's; it was sometimes a bear trying to get the machine to use it at all.
