I recently purchased an MS half described as

"1963 Franklin with a DDO as listed in Flynn & Wexlers book as a DDO-001."

Could someone with this book or a equivalent knowledge help me out? Where do I look for the doubling? Is this a rare variation? Valuable? Obviously I don't have a clue.

Thanks in advance.

I do not see anything listed in the Red Book for a DDO for that year. I am guessing a DDO means Double Die Obverse? I'm sure someone here will know. Sorry I could not help..

check this auction out, it is the only 1963-P that I could find that was labeled DDO even though in the pictures I am not very sure thats what it actually is, thats what PCI labeled it as http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...tegory=11973
