Inspired by the Tales of Sarkany plus a rare sight around here the last four months - the sun - I decided to wave the wand and see what might appear. Not finding any flying bras to inspect in the neighborhood, I headed for the back and front yard and went to work:
Sun's-Out;-Light-Breeze;-Ground's-Drying.
Mind you, this is territory over which I've walked hundreds and hundreds of times and even detected with an old "wand", but every time the Garrett "pings" and tells me to dig, I get excited, even if the result is only an LMC that the renter's kid flung a few years ago.

The 1925 cent came out of a flower bed that has been tilled a few times; ironically, my house was erected about this time.

It's in better shape than the one in my Whitman album; no corrosion whatsoever, just the usual toning, probably F-VF condition. I brushed the rest of the dirt off from above Mr. Lincoln's head after I scanned these; it's much better than the Zincolns, which have been underground for perhaps 10 years. Maybe next Sunday I need to wander down the street to the elementary school a block away ...
