When will all of the testing be completed? Will part of your testing be to submit a coin for grading then once you get it back crack it out of the case, use your product, and resubmit to check for a more favorable grade?

I don't know when we'll be done testing...this is just the beginning. :) Never really considered a TGP test and I'm not sure I'm willing to shell out the bucks for it. That would be a really cool experiment though! If you want to try it, I'd LOVE to see the results.

Thanks for answering all the questions Thad.. I'll keep my eyes peeled for beta tester invites Hey, didn't you send in one of your 1909 VDB's after you used Verdi-Gone on it to test how it did? I don't think you cracked one out, but you did test to see if it would come back "cleaned", and it passed with flying colors.

Here is an idea for you regarding Verdi Gone Bad Thad. Since your product is difficult to send over seas, why not offer a service where we can send our coins to you for treatment? There would be a few issues to iron out to make it work, but I can't see any insurmountable problems. NGC offer a conservation service, so why not you?

Isn't this as bad as cleaning?

Yes, I conserved my 1909-S VDB with VERDI-GONE™ and sent it to NGC. It came back VF-30 with no problems!

I never intend on getting into the business of conserving others coins. That's just something I'd prefer not to take on.

Quote: Isn't this as bad as cleaning? I consider VERDI-CARE™ as a conservation fluid/corrosion protectant and not a cleaner. It is a gentle product made to preserve a coins patina, not to strip it off. It will only remove loosely adhered surface debris. VERDI-CARE™ contains no soaps, no detergents and no harsh chemicals.

Excellent thread and great questions/answers. I hope to see more examples too! I asked my local coin dealer about Vergi-gone and he looked at me like I had 11 eyes. I'm guessing he's never heard of it. LOL.

So if it was sent in, it would come back with no problems like the V.D.B?
