I wasn't planning on buying these proofs, it was an impulse purchase. Actually my wife picked up the nickels for her collection and I got the quarters for mine. No big deal we got the nickels for $1.00 and $1.50 each and I paid $2.00 each for the quarters. Most of my sets are complete with the exception of some expensive key coins. I started out collecting circulated sets and then moved on to collecting the same sets all over again in uncirculated condition. Then we started all over again and collected uncirculated sets of regularly issued coins and added in the proofs. The scans don't do the coins justice. I think I'll have to work with my scanner to perfect coin pictures.
Sorry about this post,it really doesn't belong here in world coins.
My wife has been a collector all her life. Her grandfather got her started as a small child. She hooked me 10 years ago and I went crazy. I also collect currency both US and world.
