This kinda goes along the lines of Ceylon's post but may be a different situation because he has no pix. Anyway, what is this error called and because of it's lousy shape does the note has any appreciable premium? Thanks. Edited by numismo 03/31/2010 12:48 am

3rd printing (green ink parts) shift. I think it would command quite a premium, even though it's in that shape. Even though 3rd print shifters are the most common of all the shifts, it's still all in all rare.

Numsimo, Mine is shifted to the left where if we were to compare it the "K" (in your note) would be below the "F" (of America) with the same alignment. Also your seal has shifted more prominently than mine and is very well pronounced. All in all your's is a better example. Lafaa, yes my seal is shifted but numsimo's pictorial is the best. FWIW, I came across a few more of the G block from 2006 where you can see my example if you run across them. Peace

IMHO I don't think it's worth "quite a premium" but it is definitely a keeper with somewhat of a premium. John1

Numismo, Not sure if you have visited this site (found it while doing some dd). This person has unc errors for sale and the prices. Although your's is circulated, my 2 cents is that it's worth a quite a premium based on this persons asking prices. JMO. I also found the listings educational. http://www.lewdufault.net/servlet/StoreFrontPeace

Numismo, Did you research this further? I see 4 errors, 2 district numbers (11), green seal and SN. You could push it up to 6 errors if the sig's come into play.

Just curious about what "quite a premium" might be. Thanks.

At least $20 or so, I would think.

I was going to say $30. BUT, I would not part with it as time goes on this WILL only go up in price.

Yeah, as with all error coins and notes, you don't really know the price unless someone bids on it. Keep it! It was only a buck to you :D

Siuol,
What's the SN and FRB district on the 06? Any idea if it affected the entire run? Also can we see a pic?
Peace

Don't sweat about the date, that's a nice clean note with quite a bit going on - Ink smears (3 or 4 minor), seal shifts etc. What's going with the fold around the 11 O clock (N in United to the shoulder area). If it is a fold then it certainly was a strange way of doing it.
Peace
