I recently bought 10 rolls of wheats on ebay that were said to be not searched (i knew it was bs as I see thousands of those ads). I was right, I went through and sorted everything and I came out with the following

3 50-59 Philly
2 50-59 Denver
1 20-30 mixed mints
2 40-49 Philly
2 40-49 Denver

So now what should I due with them, I dont really collect pennies. the Red Book has these listed at min of 10-50 cents each

I'm sure he is indicating the number of rolls for each year sequence. In one context I don't see anything wrong with this. Unsearched is a real relative term. The simple fact of the matter is that there really isn't ANY roll of wheat cents running around out there that hasn't been searched in some fashion at some point. There are exceptions to that, of course, but they are relatively few and far between. But with something like this, 10 rolls of "unsearched" wheat cents, what was one expecting to find? Like they say, "Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances."

Yes thats in rolls after I sorted them up, only reason I bid on them is I got them all for 30 shipped. When looking on other auctions with so called un searched I noticed there going for 3-5 each min, plus if I put an Indian head they will sell for more. I filled 9 holes so it wasnt bad but now I got to figure out how to sell some of them, I'm not sure should I keep them as is or due something else with them.

do NOT resell them as unsearched, if you do, most members would not welcome you here because of dishonest selling

Why not keep them? They're bound to be even more collectable than they already are, seeing as the US cent is changing yet again.

Bryan; keep all the cents that are 1939 or older.

either:

keep the rest
sell the rest as searched
or
put them back into circulation.
