I just want to know what to put my coins in.Right now they are in plastic holders. Is this a good idea, or will my coins turn green after a while?

What type of plastic holders? I recommend Airtite brand!

I use card board holders with a plastic window to see the coin.

2x2 flips are generally considered ok most have Mylar for the window portion and no PVC they are no air tight so where you store them is important too.

i recently switched over to these. a buddy of mine also recommended these as well. I noticed that my silver bullion coins were toning in dansco albums, so I made the switch.

You could do as I do and cover with liquid plastic. Then make pen holders out of them

Just kidding of course. Those flips are what most people use and are really safe. If you plan on long term storage in those I suggest you seal the edges with clear tape, not staples. Staples will still allow air to get to your coins.
