I wonder how many different die cracks are there for the 1983 Lincoln Cent. Here are 2 new ones for me. First is a crack running across Lincolns head. Maybe its a toupee.

Second is Die Cracks on Column 1, 2 & 3 on the reverse.

Thanks for looking.

You will see a lot of recurring cracks in similar spots, I'm assuming because they are stress points, but in theory the cracks are random and can be any shape, size, direction, length, etc. So, in answer to your question there are endless possibilities.

I think you're becoming a crack addict.

LOL...is there a 12 step program?

Cracks are cool. I keep a example or 2 of each of the ones I find. These 2 are new ones for me. Make a nice addition to the collection. I really need to get rolling on these cents. When looking at 7500 cents out of rolls sitting on your desk. It seems like the task of going through them will be never ending.

Back to the grind.

Almost done with the US cents. I purchased 3 boxes of Canadian cents. What I have posted is just from the US I pulled out of the Canadian boxes.
