I have a Dansco album for my Lincolns and it say including proof onlys. Well there is nothing inside that says anything about proof issues, so my question is: Do I put the proofs in the regular spots, or put the regulars in and find something else for the proofs? (I am talking about the pre-1975 proofs, since from then onward the S-spots are proofs.) Opinions?
DMT! I would put regular circulation strikes in any spot that does not have "Proof Only".
Proof only Lincolns were made from 1975 to date. Proofs and circulation quality Lincolns were made simultaneously from 1909 through 1917, and resumed in 1936 through 1942, and resumed in 1950 (SMS versions in 65-67) through 1974.
jokingjoker, I ran across that thread earlier today. I must say, . The thing is I have an older album and it holds the complete series with pages to 2008 I think. And its full, I dont think I could get any other pages in there. I have thought about getting the split set of albums and maybe use this for my extras, as I have many. I do think I will follow along though, and take my proofs out of this one and keep them seperate for now, or until I can get the other books.
