Hello,
Lately I have not been getting subscription e-mails for topics I subscribe to, has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix this?
Thanks, Rich Rich M. - Collector since 2008

I've been getting all of mine.. but I don't subscribe to that many. Did you check your subscriptions in your profile? Does it show all of the topic you subscribe to? Does it happen every now and then, or have you just stopped getting the emails?

I have a boatload of subscribed threads, so it would take a lot to go through them. It's just every now and again.. I'll see a post I subscribed to with more posts but never saw the notification in mail. Maybe when Dad is fixing something the subscription doesn't get saved to the database?

It's likely due to the database issues lately. We are upgrading the DB next weekend so I likely will not investigate this problem unless it persists after the upgrade. Sorry if it inconveniences anyone, but I am 95% sure this is the issue, so investigating would just be a huge waste of time.

Oh goodie, an upgrade! That should go smooth.. The subscription thingy isn't too annoying - I just use the "active" topics bookmark thingy to see which ones I've missed. It's a lot on computers I don't log into daily but I can weed out the ones I know I've seen on those. Lafaa, if you click the "Topic Subscription" link at either the top right above the first post, or right above the reply box, you'll get an email notifying you when someone replies. If you click the link in the email, it will take you right to that reply in the topic. But I thought you were doing that, as you seem to pretty on top of conversations

I am subscribed to two forums here, and all email notifications are being received. It hasn't been affected by the database issues. I would advise you to confirm that you are really subscribed to the posts you expect to be subscribed to.

lafaa - when you see a thread that you like, and you want the site to email you when someone replies then click the topic subscription link at either the top or bottom of the page. you can manage your subscriptions when you go into the "MY CCF" link at the top of the page.
