I agree with you Nic, My 1912 was just a mere VF condition. There was even a time that a 1912-S USPI one peso fetched at 62K US dollars having the top record on USPI's.


A bit OT, but I'm guilty that I've never really studied the US Admin Peso -- but at this rate, don't you think this would be a counterfeit :

Hi Fireandice,
The ebay link you mentioned today about the 1912s USPI, I am confident about the seller that his items were originals. As of todate, I have never seen nor encountered a 1912s counterfeit. I hope not, in the future.
Yes Bagets, I will be posting my 2 samples of 1906s USPI counterfeits for our study in the very near future.
