Very nice Joe - I've always been interested meteorites and picked a few cheep bits and bobs up on ebay. I know very little about them though.
I was wondering if you could help me with this:
Its about the size and shape of a golf ball, or would be if it was compete as its been cracked open. The outside (inset pic) is black and looks like its been exposed to extreme heat, the inside is light / dark green and is a crystal like substance. I found it in the North West of the UK.
Someone told me it was a tektite - was wondering if you or anyone else in the know could confirm this or otherwise.
