Sumitted them in an editorial letter to Coin World regarding Rep. Castle's bill endorsement for EVERY President to grace on our dollar coinage. They printed it! Hope it ruffles some feathers in the numismatic community.

Just so everyone knows, I met with Rep. Castle today, and have been scheduled for 4 upcoming discussions before the House of Rep. Banking and Finance committee. While I don't hold out much hope for changing any minds, at least all will get to hear the views represented by this dealer. I would love to have CSPAN cover the hearings, but hold out even less hope for that. I will of course keep everyone updated.

Ahhhh presentations. Give me a laser pointer and a powerpoint and I am ready to go. Wish I was there with ya Steve. You could see it now... "Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests - we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Rep. Castle - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen! Sorry...had to add a little humor from one of my favorite movies of all time.

Ed, I will be shocked if I am not asked politely to leave after my first comments. I have yet to learn the art of "Bu** kissing, or making someone feel special simply because of their job". Never been accused of being too subtle. While I love the fight, and even turn a few heads, I am beginning to feel like I am fighting a losing battle.

Dazzle them with your brilliance, Baffle them with B.S. Talk of our founding fathers and their intentions. Lincoln used this brilliantly during the beginning of his Gettysburg address. After all, how can you go against the wishes of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison and Monroe?

Hello all, Be careful when quoting what our founding fathers may have wanted. I have read repeatedly that old George Washington was quite adament about not appearing on any coinage. As all of the colonial collector's know that wish was honored at least for coins that made it into regular production. I don't think we broke his wishs until the $1.00 bill and Washington quarter! I have taken "statute one" to these elected leaders many times. For those not familiar with that very first law, it explains what is to appear on our coins in very plain language. I have also presented many of the best designed coins for their viewing pleasure.
The major problem with our elected leaders is the basic fear of losing their job for proposing a bill to make things right with our coins. Nobody wants to be the one who "removed" Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Jefferson, Kennedy. That would be a legacy that no elected leader wants on the resume.
So until enough people make their voices known, we will have to put up with whatever worthless dead coin design they push onto us.

OK...we can live with the Presidents ALREADY depicted on our coins. The key is depicting ALL of the remaining Presidents (many of them NOT worthy) on future dollar coins.
Take the fight with these guys to oppose the expansion of real people instead of any idea of removal.
