It's very hard to judge authenticity from a photo or scan, unless the counterfeiter has done a very sloppy job. I don't see anything in this pic that indicates it's a fake, and it's not a particularly rare coin. What makes you think it might be?

As an aside, I notice this is a different coin to the one posted in your other recent thread asking about fake 8 annas. That one was Bombay mint, as indicated by the dot at the bottom of the reverse.

There are many educated and experienced Numistist on this site. When asking for authentication, it would be wise to add the coin spec's to the post. Weight, diameter, etc. will give us an opportunity to research a give you feedback on what an authentic coin's spec's should be.
