Basically, my father gave me these and he didn't know what they were. Personally, I'm tired of moving them around. Anyone have any idea what these are? The first picture is the front and the second is the back. I have 2 of them and they are identical, so I doubt they're fake, but I guess they could be. Thanks a lot for any help!

Is that "copy" stamped into it?

That'll buff right out. Welcome to the bestest coin forum! Note that we tend to have a sense of humor, rather than being stuffed shirts. Well, most of us.

to the community. Both of these are copies of coins from the Holy Lands. I don't know what the first one is suppose to be but the second is a copy of a Prutah.

Echizento, it's front and back of the same coin. It's copied from a silver sela or tetradrachm from the Second Jewish Revolt, c. 134 AD, depicting the Temple in Jerusalem. Given that the Temple had been destroyed some 60 years beforehand, the rebels didn't really know what it used to look like, so they depicted a pagan-style temple, gave it a flat roof and put the Ark of the Covenant inside it, instead of the usual statue of a deity. Originals of this coin look like this.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Two coins, same coin (copy). See the line of type under the 2nd photo.

if the other coin has "copy" stamped in it like this one does above the roof with the pillars holding it up then both of your coins are a copy of the coin described above
