Welcome to the forum.

Well it all depends on the condition they are in and the mint at which your coins were made. For example, there are three main varieties of the 1941 penny all having different catalogue prices depending on condition. Try looking for a copy of 'Renniks' or Greg McDonalds 'Australian Coin and Bank Notes' in your local library. Both these guides give price guide for most varieties of Aussie coins dependent on condition, but these are retail prices. Generally you'd get a lot less selling them yourself.

The other option is to go take a look on ebay and do an 'Advanced Search' on completed auctions and see what coins similar to yours have been selling for.

Cheers,

Mark

Andrew, welcome to the CC forum.

Greg McDonald's Australian Coins and Banknotes (Thirteenth Edition) is the way to go. Costs about $24.95 in most coin shops. You may be able to get it a bit cheaper as a new edition is due out later this year.
Grading of your coins is very important as this effects the value greatly. If in doubt take them to a couple of coin dealers and compare there answers.

You have no key dates there so condition will be a big factor. If they are average circulation grade coins then you are only talking the price of copper. I they are better then price goes up.

Hello Andrew10, I took a look in my Krause Mishler book and see that several of your pennies in the 40's and 50's show a value of 5.00 and 6.00 in Extra Fine Condition. As to your half pennies- several of those in the same years show 1.50 to 2.50 values. You might be able to do some trading with some of the people on this forum that are into Australia coins. If you have any of the Shillings in Silver WW11 years, I am interested in acquiring-through trade- I have oodles of trade material in most countries- Book value against book value as listed in Krause...

Welcome to our niche in the woods andrewten....

Just echoing what has been posted already....there are no key dates in the lot of coins in your possession, but then if any of them are in the very high grades (Choice/GEM) they will fetch you a few dollars.
