I found this quarter awhile back when given change at a store. I kept it, but am now very curious as to what, if anything this thing is worth.

Below are the best pictures I could take of it (As I don't have a really good working camera right now)

Thanks in advance for any information!

It's offset...usually, the further offset, the greater the value; beginning with offset enough that it affects things like the date.

So, since the date is still visible, this thing is probably not worth anything?

It's off-center enough that it is collectable. It's not going to command any high premium, if that's what you're asking. Notice the lack of rim near the date, and the extra rim at the top. This may be called a finned rim, but I'm not positive. Like j_h_s said, if numbers or letters were missing, it would be worth more, but your coin is certainly worth more than face value to a collector.

Do you collect coins, or do you know someone that does?

I do not, and the one friend I had who did stopped collecting years ago.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to hang on to it. Maybe it will grow on you and you will start watching your change for other anomalies and keep asking questions. There are many valuable coins that can be found in everyday pocket change that will surprise you! If not, maybe one day you run into a young collector, or a relative and you'll have something to share!

Can't tell from the photos but does it have the reeded edge? If it does then it is a case of misaligned dies with both dies being misaligned which is unusual. If the reeding partially missing or missing then it is an uncentered broadstrike. It isn't an off-center strike because none of the design is missing.
